If you have followed our photo guidelines, there is a high probability that your photo will be suitable for use.


For best results, we recommend:

 

  • Taking the photo in good natural lighting, preferably during daytime

  • Making sure the child’s face is clear, centered, and fully visible

  • Taking the photo at eye level, with a natural expression

  • Avoiding blurry images, heavy shadows, filters, or low-resolution photos

 


Photos where facial features are cropped, distorted, or poorly lit may not be suitable.


Our team carefully reviews every photo after an order is placed.

If we identify any issues, we will contact you by email promptly to request a new photo.


Please note:

If a new photo is required, this may extend the delivery time slightly.


If we inform you that the provided photo may not result in high-quality artwork and you choose not to provide a replacement, we will not be able to offer a refund.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure satisfaction with the submitted photo.


All example images shown on our website were created using excellent-quality photos.

 


 

 

How do you create the storybook artwork?

 


We do not simply paste photos into templates.


At CrayonMagic, we use a combination of:

 

  • AI-assisted illustration tools

  • Professional digital retouching

  • Artistic refinement and consistency checks

 


This allows us to transform your child’s photo into a storybook-style illustration that blends naturally with the story, characters, and environment.


Each book is carefully reviewed before delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.

 


 

 

Can I amend my order after placing it?

 


You may request changes within 24 hours of placing your order.


After this period, production may already be in progress, and we cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

 


 

 

Can I preview the storybook before final delivery?

 


Yes!

Before final delivery, you will receive a preview of your personalized storybook by email.


You may request minor adjustments at this stage (such as name spelling or small visual tweaks).

 


 

 

What is the delivery time?

 


Our personalized digital storybooks are typically delivered within 24–48 hours after photo approval.


If we need to request a new photo or additional information, delivery time may be extended.

 


 

 

What format will I receive?

 


You will receive a print-ready, high-resolution PDF suitable for:

 

  • Home printing

  • Professional printing

Do you ship physical books?

 


At this stage, CrayonMagic delivers digital products only.

No physical items are shipped unless explicitly stated on the product page.
